On behalf of the entire staff,
welcome to the NEA
Baptist.
With your admission to the hospital, you become
our guest as well as our patient. The primary interest
of everyone here is to make your stay as pleasant
as possible and to hasten your recovery.
Our
overall goal is to practice the “golden rule.”
We strive to treat each patient in the same way
that we would want to be treated if we were a
patient at NEA Baptist.
We
hope this web site answers some of the questions
you may have. It is our aim to constantly strive
for further improvement in our services, and we
welcome your comments and suggestions as to how
we may serve you.
ADMISSION
/ DISCHARGE
Your admission to NEA Baptist is scheduled
by your doctor, who is a member of our medical
staff. Patients are requested to pre-admit at
their earliest opportunity. The pre-admission
procedure saves you valuable time and makes the
admission process easier. Patients are asked
to arrive at Admissions (located in the main
lobby of the hospital) between 6:00 a.m. and
4:30 p.m. weekdays. Admissions are handled through
the Emergency Room on Saturday, Sunday and after
hours.
We will make every effort to accommodate your
preference in room assignment. However, room assignment
is also determined by factors such as your doctor’s
orders, the type of care you need, and room availability.
Critically ill and emergency patients receive
immediate attention and first priority for admission.
The Admissions phone number is 972-7252.
